Wahts is Cancer in Women and Men

Cancer usually occurs when cells in the body divide out of control, These abnormal cells then invade nearby tissues, or move to areas far way into the blood vessels or the lymphatic system.

In order for the human body to function normally, every organ of the body must have a certain number of cells. These cells in most organs, have a short life, and to maintain the function of the body, these cells must be replaced through cell division process.

Cell division is controlled by genes located in the cell nucleus. They function like a book of instructions that instruct the cells, proteins what to make, how cells divide and how long they age. The genetic code can be damaged as a result of several factors which give rise to defects in the instruction book. These defects can dramatically alter cell function. Instead of stopping, but could have the cells continuously divide, instead of dying, these cells could survive.

Some mechanisms work to prevent genetic damage from happening and to get rid of genetically abnormal cells from the body. But in some people, the body's defense is lacking and abnormal cell populations could have escaped from the control of the body. These are cancer cells which are then clustered and destroys healthy body tissue / normal.

Cancer cells need nutrients to survive and grow. Many types of cancer can stimulate the growth of blood vessels to provide the food that they need. Even the word cancer itself comes from the Latin Cancri which means crab. This is because the shape of the large blood vessels surrounding the tumor are considered shaped like claws and crab legs for people of antiquity.
